Barbara J Burlew, owner & founder of Burlew Bookkeeping & Tax Service Inc has been providing quality bookkeeping, tax and consulting services since 1990.  While attending Cal State Long Beach (which is located next to the VA Hospital), Barbara became involved in assisting Veteran’s to file their tax returns.  This was a service she volunteered for that gave her a reward of “giving back” to those who served this country and provided us the freedom we so enjoy.  She continued volunteering her services at the Buena Chamber of Commerce, finished her education at Cal State Fullerton and began her practice with the support of many of those clients she volunteered to assist. Burlew Bookkeeping and Tax Service, Inc., has built a reputation of working under the highest level of honesty and integrity without compromise. Whether the need is for tax matters, accounting services, QuickBooks training and consulting, financial statements, business planning or financial guidance, our staff will use our experience, resources and professional discretion to steer you in the best way possible.

Barbara and Kimberly are Enrolled Agents licensed & admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and are members of the National Association of Enrolled Agents & California Society of Enrolled Agents.  Annette is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts. Additionally, Barbara and Annette are QuickBooks Pro Advisors for all of your tax and accounting needs. Tina handles our back-end administration and provides support to our staff.

What is an Enrolled Agent?
